Paul G. Vagnozzi, 86, of Pennington, NJ passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ he was a life long area resident. He attended St. James and Trenton High School prior to his graduation from Newark College of Engineering where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He proudly served the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Opportune and the U.S.S. Escape until his honorable discharge in 1954. Employed by Federal Pacific Electric Co. of Newark, NJ he traveled the world as an international sales rep prior to starting his own company, Equipment Export Co. in 1976. He retired after a 30 plus year career. He will be fondly remembered for his quick witted fun loving attitude, his commitment to his loving family and friends and his undying love and devotion to his wife Shirley.
Never afraid to help others, he remained a constant guidance to his family throughout his life. He will be greatly missed. We love you Dad, your family!
Son of the late Pasquale and Rosa Bianca (Naticchia) Vagnozzi; beloved husband of the late Charlotte “Shirley” (Yaccarino) Vagnozzi; brother of the late Angelo Vagnozzi and Catherine “Rena” Hanuschik; Paul is survived by his three sons: Paul J. Vagnozzi of Pasadena, CA, Richard J. Vagnozzi and wife Bing of Los Angeles, CA, and Gary F. Vagnozzi of Pennington, NJ; a sister Julia and husband Joseph Panzitta of Pennington, NJ; a sister-in-law Cecelia Vagnozzi of Pennington, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
