Obituary for Louise Botlinger

Louise Mary (Molinari) Botlinger, 93, departed this world on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Hospice of Hamilton.

Louise was a graduate of Trenton Central High School and a retired clerk from the State House in Trenton. She enjoyed her long retirement years traveling, dancing and volunteering for local organizations, including Deborah Hospital and Meals on Wheels. She was a longtime member and dancer at the Hamilton Senior Center. In her later years, Louise remained on the move, always with her loving companion and friend, Lucy Pesca.

At 93, she remained vibrant and passionate with her opinions on life, and shared her views of our country and the world. She always loved a party and was in the center of many. Louise will always remain unforgettable by all of her family and their friends.

Daughter of the late George and Isabella (Egidi) Molinari; former wife of the late Charles DeCara; mother of the late Peter DeCara; sister to four late siblings; she is survived by her daughter, Diane (DeCara) and husband David Warfel, with whom she resided in Hamilton and Seaside Park. She was known as Gee or Grandmom to “her girls”, Amanda (Warfel) and husband Brian Dennehy, and Georgina (Warfel) and husband Brian Shea. Her great granddaughters are her “sweethearts”, Arianna and Isabella Mondelli. All experienced the joy of being lovingly nurtured by her. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, especially her loving nephew Joseph Bonfanti and wife Maria and sons.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Deborah Heart & Lung Center, 200 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015 or online at www.deborahfoundation.org
