Obituary for Mark "Firt" Firth

Mark "Firt" Firth
Mark J. Firth “Firt”, 41, of Hamilton died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at home. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Mark was a graduate of Nottingham High School Class of 1994 and he received his bachelor’s degree from William Patterson University in 2001. He was employed in the field of social work for 15 years, working in many different places in Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties. Mark educated others on raising their children, and he impacted many lives. He was passionate about running and physical fitness. He loved to play football, do cross country and run track. Mark was an avid fan of the Mets, Celtics and Bears. Firt leaves behind many family and friends who loved him dearly.

Mark is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George and Josephine Wylie; and his aunt Dot Dansbury; those left to mourn his passing are his two daughters, Mackenzie Alexa Firth and Fiona Rose Firth; his mother Elizabeth “Betty” (Wylie) Firth; his sister, better known as “Sis”, Janet Firth; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends too many to mention.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Greory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq., NJ. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to www.gofundme.com/mark-firth-funeral-memorial-fund for the benefit of his two young daughters.
