Born and raised in Trenton, Joe resided in West Amwell for twelve years prior to moving back to Hamilton in 1998.

Joe, as he was affectionately known, proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a respected Trenton Police Officer for 27 years and was honored as Policeman of the Year by his fellow officers. He especially enjoyed working in the K-9 Unit alongside Rocky prior to his retirement. He was most recently employed as a U.S. Marshall for eighteen years.

Joe was an avid Cowboys fan who very much enjoyed driving his Corvette, enjoyed spending time with his friends, and especially his family. He loved music ranging from the '50s through today. He had a beautiful singing voice and was one of the original Cop Shoo Bops. He will be deeply missed by many.

Joe is predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Mary(Grant) Reynolds, and his brother-in-law, Richard Voss. Keeping his memory alive are his loving wife Joanne Voss-Reynolds of 38 years, his sons with his former wife Karen, Jeffrey Reynolds, and his wife Daniela, and Joseph Reynolds; his son and daughter with his wife Joanne, Brett Reynolds and Courtney Reynolds and her fiancé, Bill Cahill; his sister, Sandra Hummel; a sister-in-law, Darla Voss and her family; also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30 at Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ, 08619 with Dr. Richard Emmons, Senior Pastor of GraceWay Bible Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road,
