Mary Lou Trotto (Wilno)
Mary Lou Trotto, 88, of Hamilton, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol, PA she had resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area for most of her life. Mary Lou retired from St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton where she was employed as an administrative assistant for over 10 years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church, and was a member of their Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Hamilton Senior Citizens, St. James Senior Citizens, the Trenton Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge #105, the American Legion Post #414 of Lawrenceville, and the San Felese Society.
Mary Lou loved to cook and bake and was proud to make traditional Italian meals for her family, especially for holiday gatherings as those were most important to her. She loved doting on her great grandchildren whom she adored. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard, and loved traveling and cruising with her late husband who preceded her in death by only eight months. They enjoyed trips to her favorite beach, Wildwood where they took their children almost every year. She was a wonderfully loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed immensely by those who loved her.
