Michael Sinocchi, of W. Windsor, NJ entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, NY he had resided in W. Windsor since 2003. He was an Air Force Korean War veteran. Michael was employed by International Paper in Walkill, NY as a draftsman and designer, and had several patents with them. He was a parishioner of St. David the King Church in W. Windsor. Michael worked on the lunar module that went to the moon on July 20, 1969. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Son of the late James and Grace (Morabito) Sinocchi; brother of the late Anthony and James Sinocchi; brother-in-law of the late Vincent Ungaro; Michael is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Theresa (Ungaro) Sinocchi; his two beloved children, Dorie A. and husband Edward Scully, Michael V. Sinocchi and wife Adrienne; two cherished grandchildren, Christian Michael Scully and Samantha Theresa Scully; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. David the King Church, 1 New Village Rd., W. Windsor, NJ. Cremation will follow and will be private. Family and friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
