Obituary for Jeanne "Jean" Russo (Cosentino)
Jeanne Marie Russo “Jean”, 83, of Jobstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Trenton Central H.S. Class of 1953. She attended Bucks, Mercer, St. Petersburg, and York County Community Colleges. She resided for many years in both Pennsylvania and Florida.
Jean owned and operated her own beauty salon in Trenton for many years, Shape-N-Style. She was office manager for several construction companies for many years in Trenton, Pennsylvania and Florida. She served as Secretary & President of The Trenton Republican Club, Secretary/Treasurer of the Republican Women of Mercer County and The Republican Chairwomen of Trenton. She retired from the Mercer County Improvement Authority in 2001 after 18 years of service. After her retirement she was voted to the Board of Directors as Secretary in her prior residential community in Hamilton.
Jeanne is survived by her two children: son, John Russo and wife Teresa; daughter, Carla Donahue and husband John S. Kramer with whom she resided; four loving and caring grandchildren, Christina and John M. Russo, twins, Ryan A. and Kyle G. Donahue; two sisters, Vienna Ottobre and Frances Simla; a brother, Dr. Andrew Cosentino; a sister-in-law, Flossy Cosentino; nieces and nephews, Mr. & Mrs. Charles and Jeanette Yanucil, John Ottobre, Mr. & Mrs. Keith and Carmen Bennett, John Ottobre, Frank Cosentino and daughter Gina Cosentino, and Linda Cosentino; many cousins, Vera DiCostanza, Cathy DiCostanzo “Cathy D”, and Ginny Kulak, the Galbero’s, Consiglio’s and Carlucci’s; special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Joan Schauer, Barbara Schully, Ann Roberton, Mr. & Mrs. Steven Flynn, and the Nahn family; and many other friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ. Cremation will follow mass and will be private. Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
