Arlene Morin (Skrocki)
Arlene F. Morin, 76, of Hamilton, formerly of South River and Carteret, NJ entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at home. Arlene was born in Carteret, NJ on April 22, 1942. She was raised in Carteret, before moving to South River and then Hamilton, NJ.
Arlene was formerly employed with the State of NJ Division of Unemployment in Perth Amboy, NJ, she went on to work for the State of NJ Dept. of Human Services Division of Disability Services in Trenton, retiring in 2008 with over 40 years of dedicated employment.
Arlene was a former member of the South River Rescue Squad, and the Joyce Kilmer Chapter of Deborah. She liked to cook and decorate her yard with flowers. She found her enjoyment in life by spending time with family and friends.
Arlene is predeceased by her parents John and Josephine (Penkul), her sisters, Helen (Skrocki) Strakele, and Regina (Skrocki) Juhasz; Arlene leaves behind to mourn her loss, her son, Patrick Morin and wife Jennie; two grandchildren, Keenan and Kendra Morin all of New Egypt; her brother, Kenneth Skrocki and wife Donna of Brick, NJ; nieces and nephews: Christopher Thompson, Stephanie Skrocki, Joseph Skrocki and wife Courtney, Sarah and Alexis Skrocki, Helen and Anne Strakele, Debra, Douglas, John, and James Juhasz; as well as many other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
