Robert had many hobbies and enjoyed saltwater fishing, gardening, cooking, baking, canning, pickling, home theater audio visual, the arts, and singing. He was also an extra class level ham radio operator, having connected earthquake survivors when communications were down. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend to many.
