Obituary for Aurora "Rose" Chamberlain

Aurora "Rose" Chamberlain, 88, of Hamilton, entered into God loving care, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton with her loving family by her side.

Born in Trenton, she resided in Hamilton most of her life.

Rose, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends was formerly employed as a seamstress with Horsman Doll Company, H.D. Lee Overalls, and more recently with Hamilton Township School System as a cafeteria worker at Nottingham High School.

She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her family. Rose was a loving devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who will always be remembered for her unselfishness and love of her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Josephine (Lauricella) DiLiberto, two brothers Salvatore and Nicholas DiLiberto and her loving husband, Eugene J. Chamberlain, she is survived by her children, Gene M. Chamberlain and wife Nancy and Josette Mayes: four adored grandchildren, Brian Verdy, Christian Chamberlain, Bryanna Sanford and husband Broden and Spencer Mayes and several nieces and nephews.


Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hamilton Brenna Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 16, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, 1 Hamilton Health Plaza, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
