Obituary for Gary E. Stoltman

Gary E. Stoltman, 72, died on Sunday, November 25 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 28, 1945, Gary resided in the Hamilton, NJ area for the past forty-two years. A job with McGraw-Hill brought Gary to New Jersey, and he and his family forever embraced the Garden State while still holding on to those good Midwestern values.
Gary served in many capacities throughout his extended career, mostly in financial positions. His most recent position was with Stark & Stark Law Firm where he wore many hats and had the privilege of working directly with Albert Stark. Gary was a lover of music, even dabbling with his guitar on occasions. He was also a lover of people and made friends easily and loyally. Gary spent many years involved in the New Jersey Jaycees serving in many different board capacities but always with the idea of giving back to his community.
Gary leaves behind his wife, Marsha A. Stoltman (Pinegar), with whom he had just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Gary is also survived by his beautiful daughter, Carolyn Stoltman Millington, his son-in-law, Billy Millington, and his treasured son Edward (Ted) Stoltman. Gary was a devoted husband and father, and it was of the utmost importance to him to instill in them his deep sense of values and his great sense of humor. He always had the ability to make everyone laugh.
Gary is also survived by his mother, Mary F. Stoltman, brother Bob Stoltman (Joan), sister Mary Himebaugh (Dan), nephew Keith Himebaugh and niece Amelia Himebaugh, all of St. Louis. He also was much loved and will be missed by Marsha’s extensive Pinegar clan.
Gary dealt with many challenges in his life, and he is now at peace.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, at the Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
