Obituary

Albert William Coluccio, Jr., 82, of Yardville, NJ, entered into God’s eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2018 with his loving family by his side at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Albert was a lifelong area resident. He resided in East Windsor with his family for 42 years prior to moving to Yardville in 2012. He graduated from Trenton Central High School, Class of 1954 and immediately entered the military serving his country as a proud U.S. Marine and was honorably discharged in 1957. He was employed by Excelsior Display Company, Trenton in merchandising/marketing for the liquor industry and retired from R&R Marketing, Trenton. Albert was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Bordentown, NJ. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan. He rarely missed a Giants game as he was a longtime season ticket holder and especially enjoyed tailgating at the games. Albert was an honorary Knights of Columbus Member with St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hightstown, NJ. He was a member of the Notre Dame HS Booster Club for many years. Albert was a coach for the Hightstown East Windsor Youth Baseball League (HEWYBL) for 12 years. He especially enjoyed his summers in Wildwood Crest with his family. Albert was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Son of the late Helen (Yanucil) Coluccio; Albert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy J. (Fischer) Coluccio; his two sons, Anthony Coluccio and wife Megan of Sicklerville, NJ, and Douglas Coluccio and wife Christine of West Chester, PA; six grandchildren, Tyler, Jared, Zachary, Julianna, Nathan and Leah Coluccio; a brother, Ernest Coluccio and wife Sharon; a brother-in-law, Edward Fischer and wife Geraldine; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. Burial will follow for 12:30 PM at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
