Nikitas Eleutherios Dallaris, age 39, of Ewing, passed away after a courageous battle against cancer on January 10, 2019 into the loving hands of God at Compassionate Care Hospice @ RWJ surrounded by many of his loving family members. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in the Trenton area prior to moving to San Diego in 2009, where he remained until September when he moved back home to be near family. Nick as he was affectionately known to family and friends, loved fishing with his father and friends, and playing catch with his son Nikolas. He enjoyed billiards, eating sweets, and spending time with his family and friends. Nick was a diehard NY Giants, NY Mets, and NY Rangers fan. He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Nick is survived by his loving parents, Eleutherios “Terry” and Judith A. (Kotchick) Dallaris; his beloved son, Nikolas Dallaris; his sister, Maria Brenna; his two nephews, Jeffrey Dallaris, and Francesco Brenna; his niece, Gianna Brenna; aunts, Kalliope “Popie” Halas, Katina Prekas, Maria Mikoniatou (Iacomis), Paula Schmerbeck (Phil), Carol Guelzow; uncles, Manolis Dallaris (Dina), Demetrios Dalaris (Stavroula); great uncle and godfather, Norbie Matulewicz; two great aunts, Mary Matulewicz, and Mary Kotchick; his best friends, John Ingram, and Scott Novak; many many cousins, and other family and friends; and his dog Patches.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 626 So. Olden Ave., Trenton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1200 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ where he will be laid to rest next to his cousin Nick Dalaris. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
