Obituary

Linda D. Ranfone, 64, of Hamilton, entered into God’s eternal rest on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Capital Health Systems at Hopewell surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, Linda was a lifelong area resident. She was extremely devoted and very involved at Central: A Christ Centered Church in Ewing, NJ where she enjoyed bible studies, doing hospital visits, taking food to the poor and many other volunteer activities. Linda was a caregiver to everyone she met and would give consistently to others even if she didn’t have for herself. She always found time to make others feel good, often telling people they were beautiful. She worked many odd jobs and found fulfillment as a caregiver. Linda was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Daughter of the late Joseph Ranfone; Linda is survived by her mother, Rose Marie (Pizzello) Ranfone; her two children, Joseph Perkins and wife Fernanda and Julianna Perkins; a grandson, Graham Perkins; three sisters, Lorraine and Mark Stuart, Loretta and Dwayne Denton and Renee and Edward Ranke; her best friend, Angela Leary; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. I just read on FB that Linda passed away. I am in shock. I didn’t know she was sick and am saddened by her loss. I am so sorry that I did not attend her service. My deepest sympathies to her family. She loved her children with her whole heart and soul. Linda was a kind soul who always served others.

Linda, I will always remember you as one the kindest and most generous ladies I ever met. I met you when we were both attended Nassau Christian Center, and from the very first, I recognized your sweet, sweet spirit and your desire to help others.
I remember a story you told me when I was at your home for lunch some time ago. You had just gotten a new pair of leather gloves that you loved so much, and while you were stopped for a red light you saw a woman waiting for the bus on a freezing cold day. She had no gloves and you felt the Lord impress on you to give her yours. You said, "Oh Lord, not my new gloves!", but you pulled over and gave that woman your gloves. You taught me a wonderful lesson in obedience and love for others that day. I will never forget that and I'll never forget you. I will miss you, Linda, but I know you're dancing with Jesus and happier than you've ever been before. Thank you for blessing me and always encouraging me.
