Obituary

Antonio Roberto Ucci, 62, of Hamilton, entered into God’s eternal rest on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Merwick Health & Rehab in Princeton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Petoranello del Molise, Italy on May 31, 1958 he had resided in the Hamilton area for many years. Tony as he was affectionately known, had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Operating Engineers Local 825. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #355 to which he held the title of Bishop Griffin Assembly 4th Degree Knight. Tony was also a member of the Societa Napoletana Madonna Maria Ss Di Casandrino in Trenton.
Tony loved life and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, as well as gardening. His proudest role was being Nonno to his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many.

Son of the late Vincenzo and Fiorina (Pirone) Ucci; father of the late Christina Ucci; Tony is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia (Nami) Ucci; his three children, Vincent Ucci and wife Lynn, Victoria, and Nicole Ucci; two grandchildren, Catalina and Jason Ucci; two sisters, Maria Rita and husband Domenico Succi, and Bambina and husband David Szarka; father-in-law, Richard Nami and wife Pat; a brother-in-law, Rich Nami; a sister-in-law, Robin and husband Tarig Bokhari; nieces and nephews, Sonya and husband Paride Pocino, Dena Succi, Pina and husband David Abercrombie, Gabriella and Matteo Szarka, Saarah and Nadeem Bokhari; although he had many aunts and uncles there were a few who were very special to him, Alberina Nini, Sebastiano Nini, and Michelina Federico; as well as many cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ. Cremation was held privately. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehore-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
