Charlotte Basler, 85, of Hamilton, entered into God’s eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Atrium Post Acute Care in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, Charlotte was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a sales associate first with Barbero’s Bakery and then with Eet Gud Bakery for a total of 40 years. She enjoyed being a member of the Ewing Township Senior Citizens. She loved nothing more than her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Denarski) Filipkowski; wife of the late Frank Basler; sister of the late John and Frances Filipkowski; she leaves behind to mourn her loss her daughter, Sharon Aker; her two grandchildren, Earl Aker and wife Melissa, and Chrissy and husband Mike Carlson; six great grandchildren, McKenna, Mikaelah, Mya, Anna, Violet, and Phoebe; four siblings, Lorraine Jarzyk, Eleanor Sweda, Ronald Filipkowski, and Maryann Klosinski; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Catholic funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to services. Burial will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Eggerts Crossing Rd., Ewing, NJ.
