John J. Jachym, 76, of Ewing, entered into God’s eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ he was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as an auto mechanic with PSE&G for 25 years prior to his retirement. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. John was a parishioner of Incarnation Church, a member of the Trenton Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 105, and a member of the American Legion Post #414.
John enjoyed cooking and catered many events for family and friends. John also enjoyed playing darts and shooting pool, receiving many awards. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Son of the late Joseph and Mary (Ewankov) Jachym; brother of the late Joseph Jachym; he is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Rogers) Jachym; his beloved daughter, Mary Jo and husband Kyle Wilson; his two adored grandchildren, Jessica and Tyler Wilson; two sisters, Madeline “Dolly” Catana and Barbara Tkaczuk; a brother, Thaddeus “Teddy” Jachym; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Private Catholic funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family due to the current pandemic. Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
