Obituary for Samuel Hippolyte

Samuel Hippolyte, 67, of Hamilton entered into God’s eternal rest on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Aqui, Haiti, he had resided in the United States for the past years. Samuel attended services and was a student of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, he was very religious and loved to read the bible and pray. Samuel was employed as a custodian for over 10 years with the Hamilton Township Board of Education.
Samuel loved helping others, and enjoyed classical music, birds and flowers. He was a very hard worker. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Lediton Alexandre and Elida Hippolyte; he is survived by his two children, Laura Hippolyte and Obed Hippolyte; the family of Rosel Cherubin; Marie Maude Cherubin Dormevil; Vestha Cherubin, Sonia Cherubin, Myrtha Cherubin, Bryan and Nathalie Domevil, and the mother of his son, Marie Reserve; as well as many other family and friends both here and in Haiti.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home prior to services.
