Obituary

Richard L. Bailey Jr., 57, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. Born in New Brunswick, NJ he had resided in the Hamilton Township area for the past 15 years. Richard was an electrician for the past 35 years with the IBEW Local #456. He was a former U.S. Army Reserve. Richard loved to hunt and was a member of the Parlin Buck Club. He especially loved watching military shows and collecting military models. He liked to harvest honey from his parents farm, Bailey’s Apiary with his daughters. Richard was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Richard is survived by his parents, Richard Sr. and Doris (Dockiewicz) Bailey; his wife Alisa (Ormand) Bailey who he’s been with since 1989 and married to since November 26, 1994; his two beloved daughters, Lea Bailey and boyfriend, Coty Stover, and Heather Bailey; his four siblings, Mark Bailey and wife Pam, David Bailey and wife Charlene, Paul Bailey and wife Katie, and Brenda and husband John Carroll; two sisters-in-law, Teresa and husband Marshall Santure and Renee Klem; a brother-in-law, Eric Ormand and wife Silvana; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Cremation was held privately. Please visit Richard’s tribute page at www.brennacellinifuneralhomes.com
