Sandra E. Foster, 78, of Ewing, entered into her eternal rest on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Capital Health Hopewell. Born in Trenton, NJ she was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Trenton Central High School, Class of 1960. Sandra overcame many obstacles in her life including being a polio survivor. She was a dedicated employee for S.P. Dunham Department stores for 25 years and was the gift shop manager for Old Barracks Museum for 15 years prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Rainbow Girls. Sandra had a love for baking, especially baking cookies and cakes for her grandkids. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s band concerts, parades, and sporting activities. Aside from her love for her grandchildren, Sandra loved going for rides in the car, dining out, and going to the theatre to see musicals with her husband Bob. On Saturday nights, she enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show.
Daughter of the late Archibald and Eva (Rooks) Mac Donald; Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Brooks Foster; her two loving daughters, Melissa and husband Robert Cislak, Wendy and husband Thomas Orosz ; four beloved grandchildren, Andrew and Kyle Cislak, and Justin and Ashley Orosz; a brother, Bruce Mac Donald and wife Emily; a brother-in-law, Leslie Foster; and several nieces, as well as other family and friends.
Graveside Presbyterian funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rachel Rhodes officiating at the Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
