Armando Luis Torres, age 82, of Yardville, NJ, entered into his eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, Armando had resided in the Hamilton area for the past 50 years. He was formerly employed as a supervisor at the NJ Porcelain Company located in Trenton, NJ for many years. Armando enjoyed playing baseball, he loved music and was an excellent dancer. He loved watching his favorite team the New York Yankees. Armando loved nothing more than quality time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Son of the late Armando and Margarita (Nieves) Torres; father of the late Edward Torres; brother of 7 late siblings; he is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Providence (Flores) Torres; his 2 daughters, Lillian Torres and Jeannette Torres (Tino); his 2 step-children, Carl Flores and Lynda Flores (Miguel); 6 grandchildren, Iliana Rivera, Adam Rivera, Angel Fontanez, Legail Torres, Armando Santiago, and Milynda Santiago; 2 step-grandchildren, Carl Flores and Tatiana Rodriguez; 3 great-grandchildren, Fabian Tejada, Yezelii and Hector Ocasio; 5 siblings, Iris Camacho, Teresa Rodriguez (Orlando), Estelle Torres (Willie), Jorge Torres (Evia), and Reynaldo Torres (Carmen); as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
