Sharon Armenti Zuccarello, 68, completed her work in this life and transcended into Heaven on Monday, March 15, 2021. Sharon was a warrior of God, who leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and perseverance. Her unrelenting compassion and ability to change the lives of all who were blessed to know her, will remain in the hearts of those she left behind on this Earth.
Sharon was always surrounded by those she loved. She was an instrument of the Lord who possessed a selfless desire to care for all who crossed her path. Born in Trenton, Sharon was a lifelong area resident, who graduated from Ewing High School, class of 1971. She was a graduate of Mercer County Community College and Trenton State College. Sharon and her husband, Paul, owned Zookies Bar & Grill for 27 years. Sharon then returned to the classroom, teaching young children at Bright Horizons in Hopewell, until she retired in 2012 to care for her grandchildren. Sharon was a member of The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 314, where she volunteered her time for numerous charity events for those in need. Sharon was a member of Incarnation-St. James Church and was a true prayer warrior for her son Nicholas, with whom she is now reunited. Sharon was an amazing cook and an expert party planner, who cherished making memories with those she loved. Known as a second mother to many, she took pride in her title as “G-Mom”, loving and molding the lives of our children with complete sincerity and commitment, as if they were her own.
Daughter of the late Herman and Salvatrice (Palumbo) Armenti; sister of the late Carmine and Christine Armenti; and mother of the late, Nicholas Paul Zuccarello; Sharon is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul Zuccarello; her daughters Carlie and husband, Michael Termun and Sara and husband, David Hartmann; her brother Charles Armenti and sister Joanne, and her beloved grandchildren, David, Lilianna, Michael and Charlotte. Sharon will live forever in the hearts of many as a devoted wife, mother, G-Mom, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W. Upper Ferry Rd., Ewing, NJ 08628. Burial will follow mass in the New St. Hedwig’s Cemetery on Eggerts Crossing Rd., Ewing, NJ where she will be laid to rest next to her son Nicholas. Family and friends may pay their respects Monday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
