Obituary

James Michael Kolaski, Sr., 74, of Trenton, entered into his eternal rest on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He was formerly employed as a mechanic for Davlyn Industries, Inc. in Monroe, NJ. James was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved to fish, and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his beloved grandchildren, and attending his grandson, Dominic’s wrestling matches. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.


Son of the late John and Helen (Jones) Kolaski; brother of the late Helen Linico; brother-in-law of the late Nicholas Linico; James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Louise (Monople) Kolaski; his two children, Allyson Kolaski and James Kolaski Jr. and wife Jennie; two cherished grandsons, Dominic and Anthony Kolaski; a brother, John Kolaski and wife Marybeth; five nieces and nephews, Nicholas Linico and wife Lorie, John Kolaski, Kevin Linico and wife Karen, Kathy and husband Michael Coleman, and Robert Kolaski; as well as many great nieces and great nephews, and other family and friends.


Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.

I worked with Jimmy for many many years at Davlyn. He was a great man who cared dearly for his family and friends. Please accept my most sincere condolences concerning your loss. Rest In Peace Jimmy!!!
