Obituary

Jean Barbara Davison, 88, of Hamilton, entered into God’s eternal rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Jean was a lifelong area resident. She was a lifetime member of the Deborah Hospital Chambersburg Chapter. Jean was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Hamilton for 60 years. She routinely attended novenas with her friend Cathy McDonald. Jean enjoyed reading, shopping, and lunching with her friends.

Daughter of the late Matthew and Frances (Staszewski) Babecki; beloved wife of the late Walter Davison; sister of the late Victor, Henry and Walter Babecki; sister-in-law of the late Harold Davison, Ruth and Richard Blackford, Doris and Howard Aaronson, Richard and Elaine Davison, Donald and Joan Davison, and Robert and Norma Davison; Jean is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Joseph Pokropski, and Susan and James Eggers; a brother-in-law, Earl Davison and wife Chris; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Burial will be held privately in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s memory to either the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude,org or by mail to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
